1966 was the first year for the 427ci big block to be an option in the Corvette. This '66 Corvette was a two-owner, unrestored California survivor before being purchased by the current owner. One previous owner was a Chevrolet dealer who kept the car in his possession since 1975 while putting just 1,300 miles on the car during his ownership. This car has the original motor and driveline, along with the original trim and VIN tags. Powered by the original L36 427/390hp big-block engine backed by the original 4-speed manual transmission. This car is a true unrestored survivor with 42,000 miles (mileage not indicated on title). If you look closely this is a great example of an original car. You can see the inspection marks on some of the suspension components and masking tape on the frame. The original weatherstripping and glue are great examples of what originality is. This Corvette includes copies of original titles, insurance cards and California registrations, the original owner's manual, the NCRS Shipping Data Report and NCRS Top Flight Award from 2017.
