The history of this KMP174 Kirkham 427 KMS/SC Alloy Roadster is extensive and complete from when it was delivered new as a painted roller by Kirkham. All Kirkham roadsters are alloy-bodied, and this car has 3,254 miles on the odometer. Two extensive binders come with this single-owner car documenting all one would need to have about its origins and build, making the transfer of ownership comprehensive and proper. Powered by a 1965 427 side oiler bored .20 over with a 428 crank, it now weighs in with 454ci, including an Edelbrock medium rise, aluminum heads and Edelbrock RPM, with aluminum dual-plane intake manifold using a Holley 750CFM #4160 vacuum secondary. Headers and pipes are from Justin O’Rourke in Rhode Island. There are two sets of cooling fans, and Smith gauges are used for a clear display. The transmission is a Ford 4-speed wide-ratio Toploader. The engine and transmission were purchased from Bill Parham at Southern Automotive in Georgia in May 2003. The engine and transmission were installed in September 2003. Rear differential is a 3:31 Jaguar independent rear suspension with posi-traction rebuilt by Kirkham with a Setrab remote oil cooler. A Safecraft halogen #5 fire system was installed by Kirkham Motorsports. The clutch is Centerforce 2 with Lakewood bellhousing. Extensive pictures can be requested, along with complete records, to give the new custodian of KMP174 peace of mind that this amazing, low-mile Kirkham roadster will offer many years of enjoyment in the future. **TITLED AS A 1965 FORD**
