This 1932 Ford custom speedster was built by Steve’s Engines and Street Rods of Albemarle, NC. Each of the Billet Specialties wheels carries independent coilover suspension, and the front end is supported by Mustang II control arms and suspension geometry. Its GM 350ci V8 engine draws air through chromed dual 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetors to produce 407hp and is equipped with a Flowmaster Hushpower II manifold and exhaust for a refined engine note. Power reaches the pavement through a TCI 350 automatic transmission and a 350 Winter’s Champion quick-change rear end with inboard disc brakes. The Tangelo Orange exterior is complemented by a leather interior, which was completed by Hobgood Custom Upholstery of Albemarle, NC, who also completed and fitted the Billet Specialties leather-wrapped steering wheel. In addition, this custom has AutoMeter gauges and Wilwood disc brakes. From The Vault Portfolio.
