A concours restoration packing an original Boss 429ci V8 engine. This fully documented Boss KK 429 NASCAR 2153 was assembled in September 1969 in Dearborn, MI, and is the beneficiary of a ground-up, concours restoration conducted by the experts at Shelby Parts & Restoration of Green Bay, WI. This Mustang's high-quality reboot was supplemented with many original and NOS parts. Once the collection of components was smooth and properly aligned, a correct coat of Grabber Blue 2-stage was accented with a correct black hood scoop. Now polished and professionally sorted, this coupe rolls with its original, Boss 429ci Ford V8 engine that, in its fully restored state, mimics assembly-line aesthetics. Behind that mill, a correct Toploader 4-speed manual transmission wears a correct RUG-AZ assembly tag. The gearbox spins a correct Drag Pack axle, which is finished with correct 3.91 gears and a correct Traction-Lok differential. The drivetrain rolls on a correct Competition Suspension. At the ends of that suspension, correct power steering combines with correct power front disc and rear drum brakes to provide competent track capability. At the sides of those tubes, chrome Magnum 500s twist reproduction F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs. The interior sports correct white Clarion Knit vinyl with Corinthian bucket seats. The sale includes a Marti Works Elite Report and an Eminger document.
