1960 CHEVROLET IMPALA CUSTOM BUBBLE TOP

This custom Bubble Top received a complete frame-off restoration 15 years ago. It features a 454ci V8 big-block engine with FiTech fuel injection. The horsepower is handled by the reconditioned 350 3-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission have approximately 5,000 kilometers (3,100 miles). A new polished aluminum radiator cools the engine, and it exhales through dual exhaust. The white exterior is highlighted by a Mercury Montclair grille, as well as a 1959 Impala one-piece bumper and lower valiant. The red interior features a glove box-mounted radio. Front disc brakes help slow this Bubble Top down. With a lowered stance featuring coils in the front and air shocks in the rear, this Impala rides on new Boss 338 wheels and new tires.
